February 18, 2024 – 5:59am –  19 degrees – High 27

Temps continue to bounce up & down.  Past 3 days singles digits at night & teens during the day. Starting tomorrow temps moving to the 30’s and 40’s.  Not looking good. Haven’t seen a sledding season like this in a long time.  Last I remember was in the mid-80’s. Actually much of the 80’s were up & down. With low SNOW in the early 90’s.  Then we got clobbered with SNOW in ’95. Spoke to a man who remembers in 1973 there was little or no SNOW.  He remembered as it was the year he moved up to Eagle River.
